I love tater tots! But it’s too hot to have the oven on most of the time lately. Plus Hunter loves slamming the oven door open and shut so it’s hard to bake anything when he’s in he kitchen. A while ago I tried to make tater tots in the waffle maker and damn! They’re awesome!
Here’s what you do.
Turn on your waffle maker, spray with oil spray, and dump on a bunch of tater tots. Sometimes I add in some cooked bacon, corned beef, cooked sausage, etc. The waffle maker won’t close, but don’t worry about it. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, then squish closed and cook another few mins. If you’re feeling crazy, at the end you can toss some cheese on top and leave it open to melt.
